Tournament Rules & Policies
These rules apply to all Supreme Tourneys events. Coaches are responsible for reading and understanding all policies before participating. Failure to follow rules may result in game penalties or removal from the event.
1. Game Duration
- 8u & 9u: 6 innings or 1 hour 40 minutes.
- 10u–13u: 7 innings or 1 hour 45 minutes.
- No new inning may start after time has expired.
- Pool play may end in a tie; bracket games will use tie-breakers.
2. Mercy Rule
- 15 runs after 3 innings
- 10 runs after 4 innings
- 8 runs after 5 innings
3. Bat Rules
- 8u–13u: USA or USSSA BPF 1.15 bats are allowed.
- 14u: -3 BBCOR only (if applicable).
- Illegal bats = automatic out.
4. Pitching Rules
- Pitch count guidelines follow USA Baseball recommendations.
- Coaches must monitor their pitchers’ eligibility.
- Pitching infractions result in removal of the pitcher.
5. Rosters & Player Eligibility
- Players must be the appropriate age for their division.
- Birth certificates may be requested for verification.
- Players may not participate on more than one team in the same tournament.
6. Sportsmanship & Conduct
- Coaches are responsible for players’ and spectators’ behavior.
- Ejections result in removal for the remainder of the game.
- Fighting, harassment, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
7. Tournament Format
- All teams play pool play followed by bracket play.
- Bracket seeding is determined by:
- Win/Loss Record
- Runs Allowed
- Runs Scored
- Head-to-Head (if applicable)
- Coin Flip
8. Refund Policy
- Full refund if the tournament is canceled before games begin.
- Weather-related interruptions may result in partial refunds.
- No refunds for teams that withdraw within 10 days of the event.
9. Weather Guidelines
- Game schedules may be modified due to weather.
- Lightning = immediate field clearance until safe.
- Directors’ decisions are final regarding safety.
